Barack Obama, in a recent interview, talked about being down on the beach talking to fishermen in the early days of the gulf oil crisis. Well that's strange because Obama, never shy of the camera, doesn't seem to appear anywhere talking to people on the beach in the rain like he said he did. Now we all know Obama loves to stretch the truth to the max but could he be lying here? If anyone has Obama's "singing in the rain" moment please don't be shy to send it to us. In the interview, Obama reiterated how he's been on the job from the moment the cork popped on the BP oil rig. Let's take a closer look. In the 49 days since the disaster started Mr. Day1 has done 6 rounds of golf, has had 6 receptions or parties, has hosted 5 sports teams, he's done 2 California fundraisers, has done 6 campaign events, he's had 2 vacations and done a few interviews and parties with celebrities. Whew! Mr. Obama, it's ok. You can have time off. You can enjoy yourself but please don't keep telling us how you won't rest until the leak has stopped. Please don't tell us how you've been on the job since Day 1. We respond better to honesty and you're only rubbing salt water into the wounds of the people and yes the fishermen on the coast.
